Indigo Dyeing
Indigo is absolute magic.
I remember the first time I was introduced to it at SCAD's dye lab in Pepe Hall, in Savannah, Georgia - wondering "Oh my goodness... Oof... WHAT is that SMELL?!" - and then watching it oxidize from electrics hues of lime green to lush blues with such depth I was just sure I could lean over and just swim in the color in the fabric.
And here now years later - I am finding such warmth and fond memories of the scent of the indigo vat and completely understanding how artists and makers have devoted their practice to using only this dye - and I am finding it's place in my own practice.

QuiltCon 2018
Hello!
I am so overly pleased to share that this quilt - Space and Time - was accepted to QuiltCon 2018 in Pasadena!
This quilt will be one of about 350 quilts on display February 22-25th!
I am really looking forward to the show, catching some lectures, and connecting with so many amazing modern quilters!
I'll be sure to post updates from the show next month!
Best,
AG
